Spring 2011 Week 2
Happy Saturday to you all! We hope you all are staying dry and warm on this incredibly rainy and somewhat miserable day. This week seemed to fly, and before we knew it we're one day away from the Week 2 games!
Before we get into the details of last week and tomorrow, we'd like to note that Suprise Bitches' new abbreviation will be XW3. So no, there's no new team, just an abbreviation change.
Week 1 Recap
Before we get to talking about Week 2, let's first discuss Week 1. Awesome week, all! Everyone played excellent games, and it looks like it'll be a competitive and interesting season for all teams. Last week saw the following scores:
DKP 10, !?! 0 OKW 3, TWT 0
DRK 2, XW3 3 McG 13, WKB 2
XME 5, ORG 8 STG 4, WHJ 3
With those scores, we find ourselves with the current standings:
1, DKP 7. DRK
1. OKW 7. TWT
3. McG 9. WHJ
3. XW3 10. XME
5. STG 11. !?!
6. ORG 12. WKB
With one week down, the defending champs lead the pack. Of course, it's only week 1, so expect to see these standings change significantly! It's only Week 1! It's still any team's race to place first!
Week 2 Games
Unlike today, tomorrow should be a very nice day. More importantly, the Kite Festival won't be going on! That should make things go much more smoothly! Games this week are as such:

Field C: DRK v McG Ref: XW3 Field C: XME v !?! Ref: WHJ
Please be at the fields on time. Unlike in years past, there are now penalties for not being there on time. Hopefully you all read the rules and saw that! You don't want your team to be down two runs because they were not ready to play until 10 minutes after scheduled start! Please plan appropriately! Beware of trackwork on the Red and Blue Lines, and the Orange Line closure in Maryland!
