Most Kickin' Tailgate Reminder

CHASE Kickballers,

Most Kickin' Tailgate Party

As always, the weather is great for another afternoon of grilling, drinking, and tailgating. The Tailgate Party is from 4:00pm until 7:00pm and it is free to all kickballers and guests. Please meet us at Parking Lot 7 (see map below) and look for us near the practice fields.

If you are driving, we recommend arriving no later than 3:30pm; otherwise, it's a $15 (cash) parking fee. However, we recommend taking either the Metro (Blue/Orange Line) to the Stadium-Armory stop, which is approximately 3 blocks away from the stadium. Or, you can also bike to RFK as well. For Directions & Parking information, visit here.

Tickets

If you reserved DC United tickets, please find Jack Fan (972-365-1988) to pick them up. Tickets are $23.00 if paying by cash or check.

For the latest updates and game results, check out the CHASE Kickball website or follow CHASE Kickball on either Twitter or Facebook.

Play DC Broomball

Join us for a pick-up broomball game at Kettler Iceplex this Sunday, Sept. 13, at 7:00 PM. Kettler Iceplex is located on the 8th floor of the Ballston Common Mall (2 blocks from the Balston Metro Station). It's only $10 for ice time. The equipment is provided by the ice rink but we recommend elbow and knee padds if you have them. Maybe a bicycle/skateboard helmet for comfort.

October 14 - DC Broomball Kicks-Off Inaugural Season

What is Broomball? Broomball is a more competitive team sport that is played on ice. Players wear shoes rather than skates, and use a "broom" (a stick shaped like a broom) to move the ball around the ice. Rules and strategies are similar to those of ice hockey. Broomball does not require expensive equipment or special skills - just an open mind and a positive attitude!

The inaugural season begins this October with a 7-week season, full-ice, and referees. Games are played at the Tucker Road Ice Rink in Ft. Washington, MD. Register today on-line for more schoolyard action.

There are also social pick-up games every weekend at Kettler Iceplex in Ballston, VA. Check out the DC Broomball Facebook page for more information.
